Tonight is a big night for AJ and here on April-Jeanette.Org, this is a cause for celebration! While we gave a brief evaluation of AJ’s first rookie year in our Report Card post, this post is going to countdown the five moments from AJ’s WWE debut to tonight that have made AJ come “full circle”.
#5- AJ’s First Match as a WWE Diva
AJ may have competed on NXT, but she got her first taste of being a fully fledged WWE Diva a few months after her season had ended. She teamed with her best friend (and NXT winner) Kaitlyn to take on Alicia Fox & Tamina. She may have lost the match, but it was the beginning of a great relationship with the WWE Universe. In her NorthJersey.Com interview earlier this week, AJ states that despite being virtually unknown, “For them (the WWE Universe) to kind of embrace me and come after it with little AJ chants – that was so moving.”.
