Big E Langston vs Jack Swagger
AJ Lee & Dolph Ziggler accompany Big E Langston in his match with Jack Swagger. Alberto Del Rio is on commentary and before the match, Del Rio put a ladder in the middle of the ring. Big E & Swagger have a tug-of-war with the ladder, but Zeb distracts Langston enough for Swagger to take advantage. Alberto then cleans house and sits on top of the ladder to end the segment.

Backstage, Kaitlyn is walking backstage laughing at something on her phone. AJ shouts MAN ARMS and she asks if Kaitlyn is texting her mom (and says she misses Susan). Kaitlyn says she’s texting her admirer and AJ mockingly acts like she’s interested. AJ asks if Kaitlyn ever figured out which lost soul is slumming it lately and is sending Kaitlyn ugly hats. Kaitlyn says it could easily be Dolph (NXT REFERENCE PEOPLE!!!) because he may be scared of little spider monkeys and he is ready for a real woman. AJ responds by saying real women don’t bench press more than their men. Kaitlyn asked if a real woman is someone with soulless eyes and has a body of a 10 year old boy. Just as it looks like AJ is about to pounce on Kaitlyn, Natalya walks in and asks if there is a problem. AJ leaves and says “Later, gentlemen”. Watch the full segment below!

Match Number Three Ricardo Rodriguez (w/ Alberto Del Rio) versus Zeb Colter (w/ Jack Swagger) in a one-on-one match

After winning his triple threat match on RAW to allow Alberto Del Rio to pick the stipulation for the World Title Match at Extreme Rules, Ricardo Rodriguez wrestled Jack Swagger’s manager, Zeb Colter in an one-on-one match on SmackDown.

The World Heavyweight Champion- Dolph Ziggler, his beau AJ Lee, and his friend Big E Langston watch the match from the commentary table.

Colter was in control for then majority of the match, thanks to aid from Jack Swagger.  After Colter taunted Del Rio for awhile, Rodriguez kicked him in the face and sends him into the corner.

However, Swagger jumps into the ring in time to save Zeb and clotheslines Ricardo.

Winner: Ricardo Rodriguez via disqualification

As the referee called for the bell, Del Rio came in and tossed Swagger outside the ring.

Senior Advisor Teddy Long then came out and said if this is the way they want it, he’s turning this into a tag team match!

Match Number Four Ricardo Rodriguez & Alberto Del Rio vs Zeb Colter & Jack Swagger

After commercial break, we see Colter hit Ricardo in the face.  Swagger then sent him into the corner; Ricardo avoided a corner tackle and Alberto gets the tag.  He sent Swagger into the ropes, then he delivered kidney punches and a suplex before going for the Cross Armbreaker.

Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston jumped in the ring just in time, and beat up both former World Champions!

Result: No Contest

Teddy Long then decided to restart the match again, and this time it’s a triple threat tag team match.

Match Number Five  Ricardo Rodriguez (w/ Alberto Del Rio) vs Zeb Colter (w/ Jack Swagger) vs Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston

Del Rio and Rodriguez controlled early on in the match, before the Show-Off raked Ricardo’s eyes and dropkicked him.  Big E gets tagged in and punched Del Rio in the face.   Ziggler and Langston dominated Del Rio and Ricardo until Langston walked towards Alberto and gets kicked in the mouth.  Langston shook it off and then threw him in the corner and speared him.

Ziggler got tagged in and missed a running splash.  Then Alberto superkicked him before Swagger ran in and got taken out with a Backstabber.  Alberto punched Zeb in the face, knocked Langston off the apron, then he threw Dolph outside before attacking Colter again.  Dolph ran back in and gave Del Rio a HUGE swinging DDT, however, Ricardo broke up the pin and went after Langston, only to get taken down.  Swagger attacked, then Dolph tried to steal a pin from Del Rio but he rolled through.   You could see AJ at ringside, clutching the World title and panicking, as Ziggler tapped to the Cross Armbreaker.

Winners: Ricardo Rodriguez & Alberto Del Rio via submission

Daniel Bryan & Kaitlyn def. Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee

With so much potential mayhem in one place at one time, it’s no wonder that the Mixed Tag Team Match pitting WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan & Divas Champion Kaitlyn against Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee would produce so much mayhem from start to finish — especially with their partners Kane and Big E Langston looming at ringside.

In the height of the melee, Ziggler tagged in his girlfriend. While the rules dictated that both Divas step into the ring against each other at that point, Bryan continued to brawl with The Showoff outside the squared circle. Seeing this, AJ leaped onto her ex-fiancé, instigating even more bedlam between all parties involved. When the unpredictable Diva finally re-entered the ring, however, Kaitlyn was waiting to blast her with a monster spear for the pin.

Matt Striker interviews Dolph Ziggler with Big E and AJ. Dolph says the WWE Universe made their voices heard, because everyone wants to see a show stealing match. Dolph says it’s also because of his Money in the Bank and Big E. Dolph says when the stars aline, history will be made. Dolph asks AJ, as she says they will make history. Dolph and AJ begin making out.

Alberto Del Rio def. Dolph Ziggler

With Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter keeping a close eye from the back, World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio took on Dolph Ziggler — in an explosive contest made by the WWE Universe last week, via Twitter, during the highly successful Social Media SmackDown. And prior to the match, Mr. Money in the Bank promised to make history.

Early on, Big E Langston interfered in the action. But, when he chose to pursue an instigating Ricardo Rodriguez outside the ring, it was AJ Lee who ended up getting a bucket of water thrown on her. This made things go from bad to outright chaotic as the emotional Diva snapped, charging after Del Rio’s friend and eventually causing the referee to eject both her and Big E from ringside.

In the final moments of the knockdown, drag-out match that followed, Del Rio once again showed the guts and resilience of a true World Champion, fighting back from the impressive efforts of The Showoff to thwart his Zig Zag attempt and make him tap out to the Cross Armbreaker.

Shortly after the match, a still-soaked AJ Lee and ex-boyfriend Daniel Bryan rekindled their tremendous dislike for each other.

AJ is backstage drying her hair, as Daniel Bryan comes up to her. Daniel reminds her that she left him at the altar. AJ says she doesn’t care, and her boyfriend has the Money in the Bank. AJ says she is with a future World Champion. AJ says she knows how to get along. Daniel says when they were together that he was the World Champion. AJ reminds him that he lost it in 18 seconds, as Daniel interjects that she is probably now used to things that last 18 seconds.

SAN DIEGO — Following Big Show’s vicious attack on Raw, World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio’s attempt at giant retribution ultimately backfired. Meanwhile, SmackDown’s elite looked to shock-and-awe in a series of explosive showdowns, hoping to earn their place in the World Heavyweight Title No. 1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match.

As SmackDown began, an agitated Alberto Del Rio was seen pacing in the parking lot, weapon in hand, presumable awaiting for the arrival of The World’s Largest Athlete and payback for the actions against him and Ricardo Rodriguez on Raw.

Inside, General Manager Booker T officially opened SmackDown, surrounded by select group of former World Heavyweight Champions. He declared that their status made them all possible entries in the upcoming No. 1 Contender’s Elimination Chamber Match — at the pay-per-view of the same name — to determine who would face Alberto Del Rio for the World Title at WrestleMania.

Returning after a long absence, Jack Swagger interrupted the head of the blue brand. Revealing that he had been living as a “real American” in his absence from WWE, Swagger said that he was disappointed with the direction WWE had been heading before insisting that — since he was also a former World Heavyweight Champion — he should also be considered for the Elimination Chamber.

In contrast, Dolph Ziggler stated that since he was already Mr. Money in the Bank, he would decline the invitation to be a candidate for one of the most brutal matches in WWE history. Nevertheless, Booker informed The Showoff that he would compete in a main event match against World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

A huge tag team main event match established during “Fiesta Del Rio”

SAN ANTONIO — The landmark 700th episode of SmackDown started and ended with a bang, as the WWE Universe joined new World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio in a fiesta before the Mexican Superstar joined forces with Sheamus to defeat Big Show & Dolph Ziggler in an epic tag team match that left The World’s Largest Athlete all wet.

One week after his World Heavyweight Championship victory over Big Show in an unforgettable Last Man Standing Match, Alberto Del Rio threw a fiesta for the ages. With the ring adorned in decorations and accompanied by the sounds of a Mariachi band, Del Rio welcomed the San Antonio crowd to “Fiesta Del Rio”!

Dolph Ziggler, AJ Lee and Big E Langston soon crashed the party, and using Big E as leverage, The Showoff threatened to cash in his Money in the Bank contract right then and there. A furiously silent Big Show arrived on the scene, tipping the scales even further against the Mexican Superstar — just nine days before his World Title rematch at the Royal Rumble.

But Sheamus quickly evened the odds, and putting aside their differences, The Celtic Warrior congratulated Del Rio on his title victory, shaking his former rival’s hand and offering his services as the “bouncer” for Del Rio’sfiesta.

Before things got out of hand, General Manager Booker T joined the party by making a mega match for the night — Big Show & Dolph Ziggler against Del Rio & Sheamus!

AJ Lee & Dolph Ziggler make their way to the ring for their mixed tag team match before it hits commercial. After an interview with Alberto Del Rio, Natalya & Great Khali are in the ring ready to compete.

Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee (w/Big E Langston) vs Great Khali & Natalya (w/Hornswoggle)
Dolph & Khali start the match. To put it bluntly, Khali squashes Dolph for the first half, and as Khali goes for a Vice Grip, Dolph tags AJ in. AJ starts to skip around Khali. He goes to tag in Nattie when AJ JUMPS on him and puts him in a headlock! Nattie throws AJ down, and proceeds to bash her head off the mat. AJ gets up only to receive a Clothesline From Hell. Nattie sets up the Sharpshooter but AJ BITES her leg to get out of the hold. She huddles in a corner and Nattie beats her down. AJ then bites Nattie’s shoulder, and we see the return of Sliced Bread #2, and AJ gets the victory for Team Washboard Abs.
Winners: Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee
After the match, Dolph hits Khali with a Fame-Asser & Hornswoggle is on the receiving end of a Big Ending, much to AJ’s delight.

During SuperSmackDown LIVE 10 days ago, AJ Lee, Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston made quite the splash on “Miz TV.” After bad-mouthing John Cena, Langston put the explanation point of their message by taking down The Awesome One in painful fashion.

This week, Miz looked to get some retribution on Ziggler in a fierce one-on-one matchup. Nevertheless, seconds after The Miz blew AJ a kiss, the insulted Diva sent Big E up the steel ring steps. This subtle distraction ultimately allowed The Showoff to steal the contest with the Zig Zag.

And when Miz launched a post-match insult in AJ’s direction and wacked an advancing Ziggler with his microphone, the brutal Big E dropped the outspoken competitor for the second week in a row.
